I'm now into Week 3 of my reborn bid to lose some weight. The title of this column tells it all. After successfully shedding 15 pounds of flab I hit a stubborn plateau. My results from Week 2: down from 162.5 to 160.9.

Tillie Linkert, Jean Stewart and Ann Reeds enjoyed the Scot Woods show in Lashburn. The music and the tap dancing were terrific. Dorothy Kissick accompanied me to Unity Tuesday where I had an eye appointment.
Term winding down

Term winding down

The school year is slowly winding down, and we have many events in the upcoming weeks. Last week we sent our Maidstone High School track and field team to divisions in Lashburn.

Europe-bound

Early in the morning April 6, 17 students and two teachers from North Battleford Comprehensive High School were bound for Europe. We left Saskatoon and spent 10 days exploring Italy, Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic.
