Congratulations to Brian Ducharme and Leonard Voegeli who join Joeleen Milman and Carol Deagnon as village councillors. Denise Bernier will again be mayor.

A new 4-H club is being formed and anyone interested in joining is invited to an informal informational meeting Thursday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Hafford Seniors' Centre on Main Street.

This past week has been fairly busy around the community with the rodeo and the Terry Fox run along with a community appreciation barbecue at the school.

Delta Co-op hosted Saskatchewan Roughriders at their store Monday thanks to a Coca Cola Canada promotion. Tearrius George and Brent Hawkins drew a continuous flow of fans who kept the cooks busy at the tailgate party hosted by the Co-op.

There can just not be enough good words to say about this fall weather. After a milder than normal winter and a cool, wet spring, we braced for the worst.

Welcome to fall. How nice to have cooler temperatures. The scenery in the west showing the lovely colours defies adequate description. In keeping with the season our first floor hallways glow with pretty leaf decorations and pictures of scenery.

Catch the 10 Whist was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre Sept. 17 with Jean Hartman hosting and providing lunch. High score went to Jean Stewart and low to Eva Inkster. Bingo was played Sept.

John Paul II Collegiate SRC members Jocelyn Hrabinsky, Victoria Winterhalt, Cole Degenstein, Cassidy Stynsky, Jesse Schmidt, Ben Fransoo and Tawnie Kotyk attended the annual Saskatchewan Student Leadership Conference in Watrous Sept. 19.

We all have dreams of things we would enjoy doing at one time in our lives. Not all dreams come true, but this one did and now it's here for everyone to enjoy.

Fall is here in all its glory. The trees have turned to such beautiful colours of orange, gold and crimson everywhere. I guess we have Indian Summer now, as the weather has been so warm and lovely too.
