A new 4-H club is being formed and anyone interested in joining is invited to an informal informational meeting Thursday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Hafford Seniors' Centre on Main Street.

This past week has been fairly busy around the community with the rodeo and the Terry Fox run along with a community appreciation barbecue at the school.

Delta Co-op hosted Saskatchewan Roughriders at their store Monday thanks to a Coca Cola Canada promotion. Tearrius George and Brent Hawkins drew a continuous flow of fans who kept the cooks busy at the tailgate party hosted by the Co-op.

Fall is here in all its glory. The trees have turned to such beautiful colours of orange, gold and crimson everywhere. I guess we have Indian Summer now, as the weather has been so warm and lovely too.
