The RM of Glenside Recreation Board held a meeting March 7 at the home of Tracy Gardiner of Spinney Hill. The final cheques and receipts from donations made to end the 2010 program were filed.

Curling team goes to regionals

Mount Hope Multiple 4-H Club held a meeting Jan. 28. Members discussed curling. The junior team won the district title and moved on to Aberdeen for regionals. There they lost in the end, but had fun. Speeches were talked about.

Rinks rock with activity

The Unity curling and hockey rinks will see the lion's share of activity this month. This past weekend the curling club sent off the Glen Heidt rink to Kamsack to compete in Northern Senior Men's Tankard competition.

In the pink for anti-bullying day

Mrs. Kerr-Goodfellow and the SRC are encouraging everyone at Neilburg Composite School to wear Pink March 1. There is a Canada-wide Anti-Bullying Campaign taking place that day. Wearing pink shows support for this cause.

Two local musicians, Danielle Schmidt and Tricia Florence, are returning to the Battlefords as members of the award winning Greystone Singers for a concert at Battleford United Church on Sunday, Feb. 20, at 2:30 pm.
