There are 19 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on September 18, bringing the total to 1,776 reported cases. Of the 12 new cases reported today in the Saskatoon area, six have been identified in the workplace at Brandt Industries.

On Friday, Sept. 18, at approximately 6 a.m., Big River RCMP responded to the report of a break and enter into a local pawn shop in Debden.

NIPAWIN — A letter to the highways department from Nipawin council is asking to move the speed zones on Highway 55 north of town further north.

A canoeist is now in hospital and is expected to make a full recovery after being rescued by Black Lake RCMP. On Sept. 16, shortly after 4 p.m.

NIPAWIN — Homeowners within a 75-metre radius of a proposed dog park location will be consulted about the possible development. Nipawin council is looking at developing the park along Lynn Street between 11th and 12th Avenue West.
