There are three new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Aug. 26. This brings the total to 1,604 reported cases. One more person with COVID-19 has died. This person was in the South West zone and in the 50-59 age range.

WAKAW — One man is dead and others injured after a five-vehicle collision in a construction zone eight kilometers east of Wakaw on Highway 41. Wakaw RCMP responded on Aug. 25 at approximately 1:00 p.m.

WAKAW — Highway 41 approximately five miles east of Wakaw is blocked both ways due to a collision involving four vehicles and a semi-truck on a construction site. Saskatchewan RCMP received a report of the collision at around 1 p.m. on Aug. 25.
