RM OF LEROY — Copper wire was stolen from a power pole at a rural location somewhere in the RM of LeRoy. Humboldt RCMP said in a release Sept. 8 they were investigating the crime. “This type of theft poses a significant safety concern.

NIPAWIN — In what Nipawin’s fire chief, David Balding, is calling a “very successful outcome”, a Nipawin home was saved from a structure fire in the late hours of the night.

On Sept. 7 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Wollaston Lake RCMP received the report of two male youths, ages 16 and 14 years old, and an 18-year-old male, had taken a canoe from the barge dock and tried to cross Welcome Bay to the T-dock.

MUENSTER — A break and enter at a property on Muenster’s College Street resulted in some damage and property being moved around. The crime took place Aug. 21 between 11 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. the next day.
