Modern-day bootlegging continues to be a problem in Saskatchewan. Deschambault Lake RCMP recently charged two people in separate incidents for bootlegging. “It’s definitely a problem in northern Saskatchewan,” said Cpl.

Effective Thur​​​sday, May 7, 2020, emergency and outpatient services at Wilkie and District Health Centreare suspended until further notice. Laboratory, x-ra​y, and community services will be available by appointment only.

The province confirmed Thursday that in-class learning will not resume until September at the earliest. Saskatchewan students have been continuing to take part in online learning at home, with in-class learning suspended indefinitely on March 16.
