A Kindersley mother charged with second-degree murder in the death of her one-month-old daughter made another court appearance. Teenie Rose Steer, 28, appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court via CCTV on April 1.

As of April 6, Saskatchewan has four new, confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 253. One hundred and sixty-nine of the cases are considered active. These are confirmed cases, minus those reported as recovered and deaths.

A teenager in Flin Flon is facing serious charges after allegedly threatening RCMP by claiming to have COVID-19 and coughing on an officer. The incident took place April 3 at around 9:30 p.m. as police were called to a disturbance on Second Avenue.
