RM of FLETT'S SPRINGS — Melfort Fire and Rescue battled a grain dryer fire in the RM of Flett’s Springs. The department was dispatched at 10:41 AM on Feb. 21.

MELFORT— A building permit has been signed for a new McDonalds in Melfort. The permit has been issued for the land purchased by McDonalds in the StoneGate Shopping Centre development during 2017.

MELFORT — The North East Outreach and Support Services is currently accepting tenders for labour and construction components for a new building. The building will be located of the same property as their shelter in Melfort.

HUMBOLDT — The nominees for the Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce’s Mark of Excellence awards has been revealed. The nominees will be judged by the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce. Winners will be revealed at a ceremony March 20.
