Insp. John Sutherland had some interesting new statistical numbers to share in his report of RCMP activities before North Battleford city council at last week’s meeting.

It was a dark time for the Tisdale Motor Speedway, as it was their first-ever night race. Bright lights from Tisdale Rentals, placed on stands from Chupa Excavating, illuminated the track for the Aug. 19 race.

On Aug. 24, shortly before 8 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery at a local business in North Battleford. Two suspects entered the business and made a small purchase.
