Long weekend busy with crimes of opportunity

Submitted Battlefords RCMP had a busy long weekend with 331 calls for service. Many of these crimes were crimes of opportunity and involved thefts of and from personal property and vehicles.

North Battleford Fire is reporting a sharps pickup on the 1100 block of 101st Street. That is the location of the parking lot of the liquor store, where the fire department located a needle on the ground around 9:34 am on Tuesday, May 23.
