Grass fires continue to be a concern in North Battleford with a fire ban still in effect in the area. The latest grass fire was at the intersection of 103rd Street and 5th Avenue in North Battleford. The fire alarm came in shortly before 6:30 p.m.

The Loon Lake RCMP and Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers are seeking in locating Tenena Lynne Chief. Chief was last seen April 28 at Island Lake First Nation, and police say she is believed to be in that area.
