A flood at Connaught Elementary School in North Battleford closed classes down for two days recently, and the Living Sky School Division board of education has commended the school staff and division maintenance staff for their response.

The driver of one vehicle involved in a two-vehicle crash in the 1600 block of 101st Street Wednesday was transported to hospital. According to the North Battleford Fire Department the crash was reported at 11:48 p.m.

A federal penitentiary is the next destination for Adelia Kaminsky following her sentencing Wednesday for defrauding a number of investors over a period of seven years.
