Concerns about roads and walkways, mainly in the city's north end and along Territorial Drive, were among the main topics discussed at Monday's city council meeting in North Battleford. Two councillors raised issues about Territorial Drive.

It was a quiet day for the Battlefords RCMP detachment between 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9.

Turtleford, St. Walburg and surrounding area RCMP detachments have been fielding an increased number of complaints about ATV operation.

The Battlefords RCMP detachment received approximately 100 calls for service between 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5 and 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8.

North Battleford Fire Department had responded to three call outs Sunday evening. The first came at about 6:50 p.m. when a dumpster fire was reported between Valley Ford Collision and JJ Air Conditioning.

Turtleford RCMP were called to the scene of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle that claimed the life of a 38-year-old man Saturday. The collision was reported at 10 p.m. on Highway 26, approximately five kilometres south of St. Walburg.

The North Battleford Fire Department responded to a collision on 100th Street at approximately 9 p.m. Saturday evening. A motorcycle and a vehicle collided in front of Valley Ford on 100th Street.
