Cash stolen at knifepoint

Battlefords RCMP responded to about 38 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Friday, June 6 and 6 a.m. Saturday, June 7. Among those calls were two false alarms, five municipal bylaw/noise complaints and three traffic related complaints.

Armed robbery investigated

An armed robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from a business located in the 1100 block of 107th Street Friday. Battlefords RCMP say a man entered the business armed with a knife at about 10 p.m.

Probation ordered for two offenders

Probation ordered for two offenders

Two individuals charged in connection to recent incidents in the Battlefords have been sentenced to periods of probation. Laurence Falcon received a suspended sentence and 12 months probation for possession of firearms while prohibited from doing so.
