A Meadow Lake man was handed 360 days in prison for weapons offences. John Robert Arnold, 27, was sentenced in Meadow Lake Provincial Court July 14. With credit for pretrial custody Arnold has 103 days left to serve.

HUMBOLDT — Curlers at the Humboldt Uniplex will have new flooring to break in during the upcoming season, with the city tendering out the work for the centre walkway and the west stairwell for the curling rink.

Vaccines Reported An additional 7,787 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 1,321,210.

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency highlighted five wildfires as being threats to communities. Steve Roberts, vice-president of operations for the agency, provided an update to media on July 15. He said there were 129 active fires.
