There were mixed emotions in the campaign headquarters for Cathay Wagantall on Oct. 21. On one hand, her own campaign was a resounding success. The incumbent Yorkton-Melville MP handily took the race, with 76.

EAST CENTRAL — The country is in for a rocky ride for the next four years, said the newly reelected Conservative MP for Prince Albert. With 150 of 175 polls reporting, Randy Hoback received 20,549 out of 30,172 votes cast.

EAST CENTRAL — Kelly Block, the Conservative incumbent for Carlton Trail—Eagle Creek, has been returned to Parliament. At the time of writing, Block had received 10,569 of out 13,218 votes counted. So far, 80 out of 184 poll boxes have been counted.

On Oct. 19, 2019, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Meadow Lake RCMP responded to the report of a firearm being discharged once at a residence on the 600 block of Sergent Avenue in Meadow Lake.
