EAST CENTRAL — Scattered showers this past week, June 25 to July 1, brought more moisture to many areas of the province.

The Zunti family is a familiar name for rodeo success stories. Mom Twila has seen her share of success in the barrel racing circuit, as has Kaybree Zunti. But in 2019, Ryder Zunti has taken his turn to shine.

Some major Underground Pipes and Asphalt Replacement work began Tuesday last week on 100 th Street downtown. For that week, there was also disruption to 11 th Avenue, and traffic on Highway 4 from Battleford was rerouted at the bottom of the hill.

RED EARTH — Vandalism to a 225 Cat Trackhoe in Red Earth caused approximately $16,000 worth of damage.

Métis Nation-Saskatchewan President Glen McCallum extended condolences to the family of the The Honourable W. Thomas Molloy, Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, who passed away Tuesday.
