Destination Battlefords has announced a couple of new initiatives to help promote their brand “Everything Under the Sun.” The first is the release of a jingle that will serve as a "soundtrack" for the brand.

A number of local students celebrated their graduation from the University of Regina at the spring convocation held June 1, 2 and 3 at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina.

Battlefords RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating Andrew Sawatzky, 26, of North Battleford. He was reported missing late Monday afternoon and has not been seen by friends or family since 10 p.m. on Sunday.

North Battleford Fire Department spent 20 minutes putting out a brush and grass fire at the McMillan gravel pit area Friday. The alarm came in at 8:42 p.m., and five firefighters responded with one pumper and one brush truck.
