Howard Kirby of Anderson Pump House now has two Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology diplomas - the one he earned as a student back in 1973 and one he earned through his contributions to the water industry over the past 41 years.

New and increased responsibilities were announced Wednesday for Battlefords MLA Herb Cox. Cox has been named chair of the Crown and Central Agencies CPC and Standing Committee, as well as member of the Crown Investments Board.

The North Battleford RCMP responded to less than 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday June 18 and 6 a.m. Thursday June 19. Six calls were traffic related complaints, two were false alarms and two were false or nuisance 911 calls.

A minor controversy has erupted in the RM of North Battleford over a road development there. The road in question was an extension of McMillan Road that would ultimately connect the road to Territorial Drive in North Battleford.
