Of the 20 calls Battlefords RCMP responded to between 6 a.m. - Monday, Nov. 25 and 6 a.m. - Tuesday, Nov. 26, five were alarm calls. All were confirmed to be false. Monday 7:13 a.m. - Subject refusing to pay cab fare.

Highway 16 west blocked
Two jackknifed semis caused havoc with traffic west of the Battlefords early Monday morning. Battlefords RCMP responded to the scene 20 kilometres west on Highway 16 at 6:40 a.m. At that point the westbound lane was completely blocked. By 7 a.m.
