Cooking fire contained

A cooking fire was quickly extinguished by North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services Sept. 6. The incident happened around 5:36 p.m. on the 1800 block of 91st Street. Three personnel were on the scene responding to a barbecue on fire.

Two weekend fires

Fire crews were busy over the weekend battling two separate blazes in the vicinity of the Battlefords. One of the fires happened about 14kilometres east on Highway 40 Sunday.

Injuries in three-vehicle MVA

Five people were sent to hospital with undetermined injuries following a multi-vehicle accident on Carlton Trail and Territorial Avenue Thursday. Three vehicles were involved in the collision at that intersection.
