Saturday and Sunday saw the return of the fourth-annual open basketball tournament at the NationsWEST Field House. This annual summer tournament has attracted teams throughout the prairies to North Battleford.

An upcoming volleyball Team Saskatchewan will feature Battlefords talent. Six athletes have been selected to compete on provincial teams in a tournament taking place in Richmond, B.C in July.
