It's safe to say the Wilkie Outlaws have adjusted to play in the Sask West Hockey League. The Outlaws won both of their games last weekend, improving their record to 4-0. They started their weekend with a 6-3 win over the Macklin Mohawks in Wilkie.

The Meadow Lake Stampeders used a six-goal second period to beat the Paradise Hill Hawks 11-4 Saturday night in the NSRHL's season opener in Meadow Lake. Both teams scored twice in the first period, but Stampeders took control in the second period.
