Two bantam teams take losses in ladies league
The Unity Bantams were at the flats Monday and lost 5-1 to the Edam Ladies. Edam led 2-1 until scoring three runs in the fifth inning. Tami Duhaime was the winning pitcher.

Orcas make big splash at Regina swim meet
The local swim club sent just seven swimmers to the Lawson Aquatic Centre in Regina May 14 to 16, but those seven produced 33 top 10 finishes. The busiest swimmer representing the Orcas at the meet was Katie Serhienko. Katie swam in 14 races.

The Humboldt Legion Swim Team (HLST) held their sprint meet on June 12 at the Aquatic Centre. There were 77 swimmers at the meet from different clubs across the province, 17 swimmers from Humboldt.
