Dear Editor I live across 15th Avenue from John Paul II Collegiate. When I first moved here I thought I may have the odd parking issues with a student. That has not been the case at all.

To define creativity, take a two-year-old, place an ice cream cone in her hands and stand back. It works; we just watched it happen. "Grandma, can I have an ice cream cone, please?" was the beginning.

A few weeks ago I got a chance to play with a friend's 150-500 mm zoom lens on my camera. To most mortals, that's gobbldegook. In English, it means it's a big honkin' lens as long as my forearm and stronger than a decent set of binoculars.

Dear Editor Tuesday, Aug. 14 found me preparing dinner shortly after 5 p.m. As I looked out my kitchen window, I saw a small child playing in the mud puddle that formed after the recent rain.
