A home in Rose Valley saw damage after somebody broke a window and entered the premises. The crime happened at the residence, located on the 100 block of 2nd Avenue South, sometime during the night of Feb. 6.

Melfort will increase the amount of tax dollars it collects by 3.14 per cent to pay for this year’s budget. The budget was passed at a council meeting Feb. 12.

Residential curbside recycling is coming to Melfort. The city’s council voted to extend its waste disposal contract with Greenland Waste to 2026 at its Feb. 12 meeting, while adding curbside recycling to the agreement.

Saskatchewan Roughrider Eddie Steele will be coming to Tisdale and the region for a week to talk about his faith. Steele will address the Awana club at the Tisdale Alliance Church Feb. 14, talk at the Nipawin Hawks game Feb.
