Farmers in the southeast are eager to put away their seeders.

ESTEVAN - The weather finally started co-operating for the farming community in late May and early June, and the seeding season is coming to an end for most of the southeast.

As of June 9, a week to 10 days of warm weather would bring the process to completion for everyone.

With some precipitation at the end of last week and into this week, seeding might be delayed a bit further.

But having most of the crops in the dirt should give local farmers more peace of mind.
