LLOYDMINSTER — The public has until noon on April 26 to cast their votes for Saskatchewan Country Music Association nominees in the fans’ choice category.

Teagan Littlechief, who hails from the White Bear First Nations, is one of the finalists. The other nominees for the award are Brody Siebert, Hunter Brothers, Jake Vaadeland and Justin LaBrash.

Littlechief is also up for the Female Artist of the Year and Indigenous Artist of the Year awards.

Votes can be cast on the SCMA website at this link.

The fan's choice award is presented to the act (solo, duo or group) displaying the greatest achievements, in all aspects of the entertainment field, within the current eligibility period. Voters should consider all aspects, including but not limited to, recorded performance, video(s), social media presence, staging, public acceptance, attitude, leadership and overall contributions to the Saskatchewan country music image. An artist is only eligible to win the Fans Choice Entertainer of the Year award five times, and then will be inducted into the award’s Hall of Fame.

The 2024 SCMA Awards will be presented in Lloydminster by Access Communications June 20-22 at the Vic Juba Community Theatre.
