Celebration of Learning
Carlyle Elementary School held their second Celebration of Learning assembly on May 11. Each class presented something that they had learnt within the classroom. They did this through song, dance, and various other forms of presentations.

The Carlyle Pentecostal Assembly had approximately 20 youth take part in last weekend 30-hour-famine. The group began the fast Saturday morning, and broke it with a Mother's Day pot luck Sunday.

The grade 7 and 8 classes attended the Pow-Wow at Whitebear last week. It was an opportunity which was both entertaining and educational. The drums, the costumes, and the dancing were all amazing to hear and see.

Snooker tourney at Happy Gang
Friday, May 5, saw a snooker tournament and lunch held by the Carlyle Happy Gang. The snooker tournament was a part of the Senior Olympic Games. The Saskatchewan Senior Fitness Association (SSFA) hold the games for anyone 55 and over.
