Charges laid in Estevan for trafficking meth, possessing stolen property

Charges stem from a search warrant executed on Thursday in Estevan.

ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service (EPS) has made arrests following a drug trafficking investigation. 

The EPS says 1.4 pounds of methamphetamine, along with stolen property and counterfeit currency, were seized by investigators while executing a search warrant at a residence in the 700-block of George Street on Thursday.

Two individuals have been charged and remanded in custody. They made their first appearance in Estevan Provincial Court on March 11. 

Jodi Neufeld, age 44, of Estevan has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking methamphetamine and possession of property obtained by crime.

Jimmy Swayze, age 38, also of Estevan, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with a release order.
