All they needed was a chance

After enjoying a brief reprieve in 2009, it looks as though the vacancy rate crunch is again plaguing Estevan.

The kick off to Estevan Idol began Monday night with Idol taking place leaving us with 5 finalists. Tuesday is Junior Idol, with the finale Wednesday night.

ECS hosted their 17th annual Improv Games June 3rd & 4th.

The Estevan Lives Rider Pride Cabaret was Friday, June 4th with past resident Chris Henderson entertaining the residents of Estevan. We were able to talk with him about the future of the Chris Henderson Band.

The fishing season has opened and many Estevan residents have been hitting the water to catch the biggest fish of the season. We talked with mick Bakke Conservation officer for Estevan and Area about what people need to know when fishing.

The Roche Percee Park is getting a face lift with the help from the Southeast Tours and Trails Inc. as well as some volunteers.

The City of Estevan is dealing with the never ending pothole problem. We talked with City Manager Jim Puffalt about what the city will be doing to work on them.

With school coming to an end, children will soon be making their way to the local play parks and pools over the summer.
