Assiniboia area residents receive Queen’s Platinum Jubilee award

The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee medal is a tangible way for Saskatchewan to honour the late queen for her services to Canada.

ASSINIBOIA - Seven Assiniboia and Mossbank residents received the Queen’s Platinum awards, presented by MLA David Marit on October 20.

The recipients are recognized for their contributions and achievements and were awarded this prestigious medal in recognition of their works.  The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee medal is a tangible way for Saskatchewan to honour the late queen for her services to Canada. The medal was created in 2022 to mark the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession in 1952.
