On the left, Angela Wilson, program director for the Assiniboia and District Museum, and artist Christine Ughayon from Assiniboia display new painting on the Assiniboia museum’s front doors. Ughayon, a local young artist, painted bright fall scenes on the glass of the museum’s outer doors. Ughayon has already completed some other artworks in Assiniboia, including window art on the front windows of Suzie’s Doggie Den, and a window art project on the front of the Telestar building. The artwork at the museum aims to create a warm invitation to the museum. The museum season regular hours end on October 31. It is open November through February on request.
