The Weyburn Humane Society has come up with a few new ways to make donating easier. The Humane Society is currently accepting Canadian Tire money which will aid in the purchase of some much needed summer equipment such as a weed trimmer and lawn mower. In addition, to currently accepting the Canadian Tire money, residents with a smart phone can now raise money for the local organization by downloading an app called "ResQwalk".
Each week ResQwalk announces a donation pool (e.g. $2,500) and in order for a rescue to receive donations from the pool, its supporters simply need to check-in to the app when they go for a walk. The more you walk, the more you can raise for the Humane Society.
