The City of Weyburn is busy planning and preparing for the annual event which is held at River Park. On June 13, residents are invited to enjoy in the festivities which are being held between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m at the gazebo in the park.
Entry to the event is free and includes a free hotdog lunch, being hosted by the Rotary Club of Weyburn. Entertainment for the afternoon includes performances by four dance groups, including dancers from Marleys Dance Effex, Lalita Maya Belly Dancing, the Dance Zone and the Ukrainian Dance Club.
The park also has a playground and groomed walking trails for attendees to enjoy. Trails throughout the city parks are ready for residents to use.
City councillor Nancy Styles commented, "We've got some great trails in Weyburn we've been building over the years. There's lots of places where people can get out and enjoy the fresh weather we're having right now."
