The Weyburn SARCAN Depot has been recognized with a customer service award. Each year, secret shoppers visit every SARCAN depot in Saskatchewan and determine the best depots for SARCAN's Annual Customer Service Awards.

Each year, secret shoppers visit every SARCAN depot in Saskatchewan and determine the best depots for SARCAN's Annual Customer Service Awards.


"Our employees take pride in their depots, and it shows," said Sean Collins, SARCAN's Assistant Director of Operations. "The Customer Service Awards provide deserved recognition for our employees who work hard to keep their depots clean and provide top-notch customer service," added Collins.


Award recipients vary annually from SARCAN's network of 71 locations province-wide, from smaller towns and communities to larger urban centres.


This year's winners are:


Accuracy: Small Depot - Gull Lake; Medium Depot - Canora; Large Depot - Weyburn; Extra-Large Depot - Estevan.


Customer Service Small Depot - Ituna; Medium Depot - Indian Head; Large Depot - La Ronge; Extra-Large Depot - Saskatoon West.


Cleanliness:  Small Depot - Grenfell; Medium Depot - Blaine Lake; Large Depot - Nipawin; Extra-Large Depot - Yorkton.


SARCAN Recycling strives to provide top notch customer service in a clean and friendly environment. All Customer Service Award winners were presented with a plaque to proudly display in their depot.


SARCAN Recycling provides beverage container, paint and electronics recycling at 71 depots in 63 Saskatchewan communities. Over 600 people of all abilities are employed at SARCAN and earn competitive wages, as well as employer-paid benefits and pension plans.
