The Wheatland Senior Centre holds weekly activities. The following are the results for August 29 to September 4:
Friday's Bridge tournament saw first place go to Joyce Hemphill, with second to George Gillies, and third to Jim Brown.
Monday's Bridge tournament ended with George Gillies in first place, second to Jean Fahlman, and third to Theresa Istace.
In Trump Whist: first place went to Ray Boucher, second to Joyce Hemphill, and third to Kay Bachman.
Jim and Marion Brown won first place in Hi-Lo Whist with the team of Roger and Marie Marcotte in second and in third was Bernice Ward and Helen Schultz.
Canasta first place winner was Mary Halbert, with second place going to Gerry Thompson, and in third, Eveline Porte.
John Schiller and Jean Fahlman placed first in Canasta, with second to Alice Schneider and Agnes Tumback, and third to Roger and Marie Marcotte.
Thursday's Crib ended with first place going to Bill and Joan Harder, second to Marge and Leonard Schultz, and in third, Basil Holyer and Merle Leavens.
In the Fun Shuffleboard game on September 3, first place went to Joan Harder and Vern Leach, second to Marg Leavens and Pat Schutz, and in third, Ione Ernst and Agnes Tumback.
The September monthly supper is on Friday, September 19 with pork cutlets being served. The McNeils are playing at the Tuesday afternoon dance on September 16 and Gerry Goski is playing at the Tuesday afternoon dance on September 23.
