Changes are being made to the inner workings at Energy and Resources, an extension portfolio within the Ministry of the Economy. On the surface, these changes are subtle, but no less important.

The Estevan Oilfield Technical Society (OTS) used their annual general meeting on Nov. 3 to take care of some routine business, and to discuss a number of promotional initiatives.

After year of negotiations, Estevan Meter Services Ltd., has purchased Lampman-based Acutech Systems Ltd. The purchase was part of a deal between the two southeast oilpatch companies. The deal officially began on Oct. 31, 2015.
