Strong winds blow as a late-winter snowstorm hit Weyburn on Feb. 25, as seen in this view of Third Street overlooking the Legion Hall and old city hall. The storm hit the city just past midday and blew itself by the evening, giving the city about 11 cm of snow, the first snow the city has received in weeks, followed by temperatures that went as low as -26 with a wind chill on Sunday night.
