Carlyle Elementary School is hosting a Remembrance Day service Friday at 2:00 for the students of both schools. There will be no school Monday in lieu of Remembrance Day.
Our students from 6D are organizing a penny drive to raise money for the people of Africa. They have learned in English Language Arts and Social Studies that many people around the world do not have clean water to drink. They are collecting pennies and small change in hopes of making a difference in children's lives across the world. If you could please send any spare change between: November 5 - 15 to Carlyle Elementary School that would appreciated!
Joint SCC meeting 7pm at the High School Wednesday November 14th, anyone interested is welcome to attend.
Student-led Conferences are coming up at the end of the month on the evenings of Wednesday November 28th, and Thursday November 29th. This is a chance for students to show their parents or guardians the workthey have been doing so far this year. Remember that there is no school Friday, November 30th due to the student-led conferences.
Ourannual Scholastic Book Fair is just around the corner with the sale dates being Wednesday, November 28th and Thursday, November 29th. These are the same dates as the student-led conferences. The book fair will run during the daywitheach classroom having scheduled times to purchase books as well as during conference times to enable parents to accompany their children if they were not able to do so during the day. On Friday, November 30th the book fair will be open from 10:00am until 2:00 pm with all in stock merchandise reduced.
