e on April 10th, and Student-Led conferences were held Tuesday, April 15th and Wednesday, April 16th. Thank you to the parents who brought food on these two days to contribute to supper for our teachers. It was greatly appreciated! There was no school on Thursday, and Easter Break is from April 18 - 21st. Classes resume on Tuesday, April 22nd and it will be Day 4 of our 6 day cycle.

Our SRC has planned another dress-up day for the school. April 29th will be Western Day. Staff and students are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Western Attire!
Grade 5 & 6 Badminton continues with practices being held on Mondays and Wednesdays after school. New calendars have been sent home with new practice times, please check the calendar to make sure you are coming at the right time. There is no longer a Monday and Wednesday group, but rather a Group 1 and Group 2. Carlyle will also be hosting a Pre-District Rookie Tournament on April 29th.
We have many lost and found items such as ski pants, coats, sweaters, mitts/gloves, and toques at the school. If you know that your child is missing something, please have them check in the lost and found benches!
If you or someone you know in the Carlyle area has a child who is turning 5 in 2014, please pick up a registration form and have your child added to the Kindergarten class list for the 2014-2015 school year. Pre K applications can also be picked up from the office.
