Cattleman uses 'mechanical horse' to check cattle

Cattle producer Garry Moore and his partner Wendy Tindall ride in his ATV as they check over one of Garry's herd of cattle, scattered over a section of land used as pasture. Moore has about 100 head of Red and Black Angus, and Charolais and Charolais-cross on the land located just west of the turnoff to Highway 28 west of Weyburn. About 70 per cent of his herd are Angus, and he said he is considering going completely over to Black Angus. The Moore family is featured in the Sept. 18 issue of the Weyburn Review, explaining the cattle industry.
