Former Weyburn residents received an award for going above and beyond the call of duty at an event in Regina, recently.
Cpl. Todd Gall and Detective Const. Kelly Newman were honoured at the 10th annual Regina Police Service Awards on January 20. They received Meritorious Performance awards for performing investigative work well above the standard.
Several other Regina officers took home honours and accolades at the event.
