Members of the Prince Albert Search and Rescue spoke to a capacity group about the possibility of forming a search-and-rescue volunteer group in southeast Saskatchewan. The Weyburn meeting, held at the Public Works building, was the last of four information meetings in the southeast, with meetings held the night before in Estevan, and the week before in Carnduff and Carlyle. Signup sheets were filled out, and now organizers will check back with those who attended to see what training and experience they have, and what training will be needed for volunteers who want to be part of a search-and-rescue group.
