The meeting came to order at 7 p.m., business was discussed from previous meetings. All agreed to close the reports and the meeting carried on.

Business that was discussed were such things as drainage at the airport, action to help with drainage was started today. The public health building will be next.

The mayor had nothing new to report and there were no committee reports. The meeting moved ahead to discuss the accounts. Everyone voted to approve the accounts, motion was carried.

The council moved onto unfinished business. The sewer main was discussed and they are still waiting approval from environment to construct.

A few possible candidates were discussed for the superintendent of public health position, and a date was set for these interviews. Correspondence was discussed.

There was a request from Cornerstone Theatre for a special events permit, this was voted on, everyone agreed, motion carried.

In other business such things were discussed like tree removal on a residential lot. Council agreed to stick with their policy to charge for a new seedling tree to replace the one being removed.

There was a request to do some work at the cemetery, council decided to wait until spring to discuss such business.

The Catholic Church has started redoing their sidewalks and they would like to finish off the remainder and are requesting help from council to pay for the cement and they would do the labour. Council discussed this matter, a verbal motion was passed, everyone voted and the motion was carried. The meeting adjourned shortly after 9 p.m.
