No hospitalizations for COVID-19 in the South East

There are currently no hospitalizations for COVID-19 in the South East region.

REGINA - There are currently no hospitalizations for COVID-19 in the South East region.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority’s COVID-19 dashboard shows that nobody has been in hospital in the South East for COVID in the past two days, the first time in several weeks that there hasn't been a COVID case in hospital in the region. 

There are four new cases of COVID-19 to report in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan, bringing the total number of active cases in Zone 4 to 30.

There is also one new case in South East Zone 3, which is west of Zone 4, one new case in Zone 2, to the north of Zone 4, and two in Zone 1, which is northwest of Zone 4.

Three more people have recovered, including two in Zone 4.

Sixty-five COVID tests were administered in the South East.

Another 227 doses of the COVID vaccine were administered in the South East. A total of 46,235 people in the region have now been fully vaccinated.
