Protest convoy rolls through Weyburn in support of truckers

The convoy did a circuit through Weyburn before heading to Regina

A convoy of trucks, large and small, along with several other vehicles sporting Canadian flags, made a circuit through Weyburn on Saturday morning before heading up to Regina.

The protest convoy was in support of the "Freedom Convoy" in Ottawa, where several trucks remain a week after arriving in the nation's capital in protest of COVID mandates, particularly in relation to truckers.

The convoy gathered at the Crossroads truck stop, came up Highway 39, turned up Government Road and back to First Avenue (Highway 13) before heading back out to the highway for Regina. This gathering follows a week after a large protest convoy gathered in Regina in solidarity with the protesters in Ottawa.
