Charges have been laid in connection with an incident in Bienfait earlier this month.
The RCMP received a complaint of a distraught male inside a residence in Bienfait on June 11 at approximately 12:15 p.m.
Officers attended the residence and seized two firearms. The male was transported to hospital and was later released.
As a result of investigation, two men were arrested and charged.
One is charged with one count each of insecure storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of a restricted firearm, and two counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited. All charges are under the Criminal Code.
The other man was charged with two counts of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
Both men will appear in court on July 5.
