The Observer would like to apologize for the errors which occurred in the council report written by Jessica Mees in the Sept. 28 issue, and note corrections to the article.
In regard to the meeting with Sun Country - there were no mayors from other communities in the area attending the meeting nor were they issued any invitations.
The Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal nominations included Judy Riddell, who was noted as a "former Homespun Committee member". Riddell has been involved with Homespun since its inception and has been an integral part of its success. The other two nominees were incorrectly identified. Nominated are Nels Dunn and Alyce Stockton, all of Carlyle.
We would also like to clarify that the town is not in "a recycling battle."
It was also noted the town will be discussing the naming of the pool with the sponsor. This information is incorrect.
